Selected Malts is owned and run by business colleagues Mikael Vesterberg, Patrik Barkevall and Emil Vesterberg, three enthusiasts based in Varberg, on the west coast. Selected Malts is characterised by its novel and innovative approach when it comes to maturing whisky.

In a collaboration with Agitator, Selected Malts offer the opportunity to purchase private casks filled with whisky from Agitator, whisky that is subsequently matured in Varberg. To Selected Malts, you are not just buying a cask, but an entire journey in the company of Selected Malts and all the other cask owners. Owning a cask is being part of a larger community with similar interests. Selected Malts invites everyone to take part in the incredible journey. Owning a private cask is a unique opportunity for all those fond of whisky. You are always at the centre of your cask journey, where you may influence the result along the journey to your final goal – YOUR VERY OWN AGITATOR WHISKY.

Tjærdalen Beer & Whisky AB is based in Umeå and run by Anders Wink and Peter Jacobsson. In a collaboration with Agitator, they offer cask -whole or shares- with Agitator Whisky to private individuals.

Offers of casks and cask shares: Among the offers from Tjærdalen is “ownership” of a whisky cask, entire small casks as well as shares of five or ten litres. The number of casks and shares on offers is always very limited. Tjærdalen’s cask offers presume that owning a cask or a share and following along its journey is the most satisfying on offer in the whisky business. As a result, a number of casks is dedicated for this purpose. When casks are divided into shares, the size of those shares are normally set at either five or ten litres of whisky, bottled at cask strength in 50 cl bottles. In selected shared casks, shares are always owned.
